See it all through the eyes of a park ranger who comes aboard to add expert insight.

Day 9: Skagway

Aug. 25, 2018

Just imagine thousands of gold-crazed adventurers seeking the best jumping-off spot for their arduous trek. They found the deepest penetration by boat was at the northern tip of the Lynn Canal. This is how Skagway was born. Here we can ride the world-famous White Pass and Yukon Railroad and then visit one of the historic gold-rush camps, where we can browse through cabins and tents that were once used as a bakery and a saloon. (Tours are additional)

Day 10: Juneau

Today we arrive in Juneau, the capital of Alaska. Juneau is home to some of Alaska’s most spectacular scenery. Nestled at the foot of Mt. Day 11: Ketchikan
