Harvey & Diane Schilling

Harvey and Diane Schilling are very pleased to be your tour hosts. Harvey, a native of Wishek, ND and Diane, a native of Lehr, ND have strong roots in the Germans-from-Russia heritage and the German culture. Harvey and Diane have hosted dozens of national and international tours and always provide tour guests with entertaining, informative, and carefree tours.  Harvey and Diane have been married for 54 years and are long-time residents of Bismarck.

Itinerary

Day 1: Bismarck to Sioux City, Iowa

Oct. 14, 2017

We depart this morning from Bismarck with pick-ups along I-94. This evening Direct Travel/Satrom Tours hosts a Welcome Dinner at the Holiday Inn in Sioux City, Iowa. (D)


Day 2: Sioux City to Branson

Oct. 15, 2017

After breakfast we will depart for Branson. We have a late afternoon arrival in Ozark Country, where we enjoy an early dinner at Lambert's Cafe prior to our check in at the Camden Inn and Conference Center, our home for the next 3 nights. This evening we enjoy Mickey Gilley and Johnny Lee at the Urban Cowboy Reunion. (B, D)


Day 3: Branson

Oct. 16, 2017

After breakfast we depart for the Ralph Foster Museum at College of the Ozarks. We then enjoy a lunch cruise on Branson Lake Queen

Following our cruise we have free time at Branson Landing, featuring a scenic boardwalk along Taneycomo Lakefront with over 100 specialty stores and restaurants. (B. L, D)


Day 4: Branson

Oct. 17, 2017

This morning after breakfast we head to Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theatre for the Brett's Show, which mixes timeless classics, current chart topping and award-winning original music.

After the show we depart for Grand Village for shopping and lunch on your own. Then it is off to the Curling Vine Winery for a tour and tasting. Later in the afternoon we return to our hotel for a bit of free time before dinner at the Uptown Cafe.

Tonight our entertainment is the Texas Tenors at the Starlite Theatre. (B, D)


Day 5: Branson to Kansas City, Missouri

Oct. 18, 2017

After breakfast we travel to Kansas City, MO, with a lunch stop along the way. Upon arrival we tour the Arabia Steamboat Museum, featuring the story of the Arabia which sank in the Missouri River in the mid 1800's. Late afternoon we arrive at the Drury Inn for our overnight.


Day 6: Kansas City to Sioux Falls, SD

Oct. 19, 2017

After breakfast we depart for the Harry S Truman Library and Museum, learning about our 33rd President. After a lunch stop we have a late afternoon arrival in Sioux Falls, SD. 

Tonight Direct Travel/Satrom Tours hosts a Farewell Dinner. (B, D)


Day 7: Sioux Falls to Home

Oct. 20, 2017

After breakfast we depart for our home cities. We stop at the Redlin Art Center in Watertown, SD, to see the art of Terry Redlin, one of the country's most collected painters. Enjoy a box lunch in a souvenir tin. (B, L)

Insurance: Price available at time of booking

Cancellation:  Tour is fully refundable if cancelled 45 days prior to departure. Within 45 days, refunded only if space is resold. All cancellations are subject to a $50 administrative fee per person.
